Les clôtures mixtes allient les avantages du béton et ceux du grillage. Elles constituent une protection efficace et s'effacent dans le paysage. Leur hauteur est au minimum de 1 m. Elle peut atteindre 2,50 m et plus dans le cas de clôture défensive. Ces clôtures comportent toujours une partie pleine au niveau du sol ou légèrement encastrée dans ce dernier, la partie supérieure étant du grillage, des fils ou des barbelés, le tout maintenu par des poteaux.
